Broker (UAE Nationals)

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking a Broker to support securities trading, brokerage relationship development and client servicing within its private banking and investment environment. The role involves executing client orders on UAE exchanges, onboarding brokerage relationships, supporting eligible margin-trading clients and developing assigned portfolios. The successful candidate must combine market knowledge with strong attention to regulatory, suitability, conduct and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute client buy and sell orders on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Dubai Financial Market after completing required verification and validation.
• Monitor order status, communicate execution outcomes and escalate exceptions through approved channels.
• Acquire and onboard new brokerage relationships by understanding client requirements and coordinating account-opening documentation.
• Work with Operations, Customer Service and other stakeholders to complete due diligence, approvals and account activation.
• Support acquisition and onboarding of eligible margin-trading clients in line with risk appetite and credit parameters.
• Develop assigned brokerage portfolios by understanding client needs and identifying suitable approved securities solutions.
• Work with relationship managers to generate qualified referrals and cross-selling opportunities.
• Handle client enquiries, share transfers, fund transfers and other brokerage-service requirements while maintaining accurate communication.

Requirements

• UAE Nationals only.
• At least 4 years of experience in securities brokerage, financial markets or investment services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of SCA/CISI licensing requirements, ADX and DFM rules, securities products and margin trading.
• Understanding of KYC, customer due diligence, financial-crime controls, suitability and conduct requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
