Manager – Product Governance – CIBG

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking a Manager for Product Governance within its Corporate and Investment Banking Group in Dubai. The role supports consistent oversight of products through their lifecycle, from initial assessment and approval to ongoing review and change. It requires careful coordination across commercial, risk, compliance and operational teams to ensure products remain appropriately governed and documented.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance activities for corporate and investment banking products and maintain clear records of product decisions.
• Support product reviews and approval processes by collecting relevant business, operational, legal, compliance and risk inputs.
• Track conditions, action items and periodic reviews to ensure owners address matters within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain product inventories, governance documents and management information so leaders can assess the product portfolio.
• Work with stakeholders on new products, amendments, incidents or material changes that may require governance review.
• Identify recurring process gaps and recommend improvements to guidance, controls and reporting.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bring experience in product governance, corporate banking, risk, compliance or a related financial-services role.
• Understand the importance of lifecycle oversight, documented approvals and cross-functional control reviews.
• Demonstrate organisation, analytical thinking and the ability to follow through on issues with multiple stakeholders.
• Use sound judgement, keep records accurate and follow relevant policies, confidentiality expectations and internal controls.
• Relevant education, technical training or equivalent practical experience in the field is beneficial; any mandatory credential should be confirmed before applying.
