Executive Manager,Financial & Internal Control – (UAE National Only)

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is recruiting an Executive Manager for Financial and Internal Control, with the position designated for UAE nationals. The role focuses on the design, operation and oversight of control processes that support reliable financial information, clear accountability and adherence to policy. It involves working across teams to identify control gaps, track remediation and provide management with a clear view of risk and control performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial and internal control activities for assigned functions, ensuring processes align with established policies and governance standards.
• Assess control design and operation, identify weaknesses and agree practical corrective actions with responsible teams.
• Coordinate with internal audit, finance, risk and business stakeholders on reviews, evidence requests and remediation plans.
• Prepare clear control updates and management reporting on issues, action owners, deadlines and recurring themes.
• Support periodic assessments of process changes and risks that may affect the reliability of financial or operational information.
• Promote consistent control awareness and help teams apply procedures in a practical, traceable manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bring senior experience in finance controls, internal audit, risk, governance or a related control function.
• Demonstrate strong analytical judgement, professional communication and the ability to influence stakeholders on remediation.

• Relevant education, technical training or equivalent practical experience in the field is beneficial; any mandatory credential should be confirmed before applying.
