Bartender

Shangri-La Group is hiring a Bartender for the Food & Beverage operation at Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for delivering professional beverage service, helping guests select drinks that suit their preferences and maintaining an organized, clean and welcoming bar environment.

The successful candidate should have a genuine interest in bartending, strong knowledge of beverages and the ability to provide polished guest service. The position requires efficiency, punctuality and flexibility and may involve working shifts, weekends and special events within the hotel operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to hotel recipes, service standards and guest preferences.
• Interact with guests, understand their requirements and recommend suitable beverage options.
• Maintain accurate and efficient order handling during busy service periods.
• Keep the bar, equipment, glassware, counters and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Monitor stock and communicate replenishment requirements to the appropriate team members.
• Work closely with restaurant and Food & Beverage colleagues to maintain smooth service.
• Respond professionally to guest questions and complaints and assist with service recovery when required.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, responsible-service and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Previous bartending, beverage-service or luxury hospitality experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of beverages and basic mixology techniques.
• Warm, confident and guest-focused personality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Efficient, punctual and able to work under pressure.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and special events.
