ASST. MANAGER, PROJECT ENGINEERING

Deliver technical and project-engineering support across the project lifecycle, with emphasis on engineering, procurement, installation, pre-commissioning and handover. The role coordinates interfaces across disciplines and stakeholders to achieve timely, cost-effective and compliant delivery of power-generation, transmission or distribution projects.

The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering coordination from project initiation and feasibility through engineering definition and construction.
• Manage technical interfaces among power systems, grid integration, contractors, asset owners and regulators.
• Track project scope, budget, schedule, contractual obligations and technical deliverables.
• Support operational readiness, commissioning, handover and project closeout.
• Develop solutions to complex project issues and present progress, risks and decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements and Experience

• At least 12 years of project engineering and design-development experience in power generation, transmission and distribution is required.
• Experience managing power projects for a client or asset owner, preferably in the Middle East, is preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory approvals, project management tools, budgets, schedules and contractual scopes is important; renewable energy experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering from a recognized university; master’s degree preferred
