Description
The revenue-management role analyses demand, pricing, booking patterns and performance information to support informed commercial decisions. It helps maximise revenue opportunities while balancing volume, rate, channel mix and market conditions. The position works with sales, reservations and operational colleagues to maintain accurate forecasts and improve business results. The successful candidate is expected to approach assigned work professionally, follow established procedures and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers. Work should be completed carefully, with issues raised early rather than left unresolved.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify booking patterns, segment opportunities and potential risks that may affect revenue outcomes.
- Coordinate with sales, reservations and distribution teams to align commercial actions with the agreed strategy.
- Maintain accurate data, track key measures and explain significant variances to the appropriate manager.
- Support routine system checks and ensure approved rates, restrictions or commercial information are communicated correctly.
- Monitor demand trends, booking pace, occupancy or sales indicators and changes in market conditions.
- Assist with pricing reviews, forecasts and performance reports using current and historical data.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant experience in revenue, reservations, analytics, finance or commercial operations is beneficial.
- Strong numerical reasoning and comfort analysing structured data and performance trends.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and willingness to use revenue or reporting systems.
- Ability to explain findings clearly and pay close attention to data accuracy.
- Commercial curiosity, organisation and collaborative communication.
