ADVISOR, MARINE & LOGISTICS

Provide specialist advice on marine and logistics matters to help the organization evaluate operational options, manage competing priorities and make commercially sound decisions. The role requires broad understanding of marine activity and the ability to turn complex operational and business information into practical recommendations.

The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess marine and logistics requirements and advise stakeholders on operational choices, risks and priorities.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors and service providers on marine support and logistics matters.
• Review commercial and operational information to identify issues, options and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare concise recommendations, reports and presentations for management and relevant project teams.
• Support planning activities and follow up agreed actions across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

Requirements and Experience

• Experience relevant to marine operations, logistics, engineering, economics or a related advisory function is important.
• The ability to remain resilient under pressure and manage complex issues and competing priorities is required.
• Candidates should be comfortable working across internal and external stakeholder groups and explaining technical or commercial matters clearly.

Qualifications

BSc or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Marine studies or equivalent; advanced degree desirable
