Security Team Leader

Hyatt Place Dubai, Baniyas Square is seeking a Security Team Leader to help supervise daily security operations and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues. The position combines hands-on security work with team guidance, incident handling and coordination with other hotel departments. The team leader must remain alert, act calmly in unexpected situations and help ensure that procedures are followed consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate security officers and assign duties in line with operational needs.
• Monitor hotel areas, access points and reported concerns, taking appropriate action when an issue arises.
• Prepare clear incident reports and preserve relevant details for follow-up by management.
• Support investigations and communicate with local authorities when required by the situation.
• Coach and guide security colleagues on service standards, professional conduct and correct procedures.
• Assist with emergency response, fire prevention, evacuation readiness and loss-prevention measures.
• Work with front office, engineering, housekeeping and other departments to resolve security concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, ideally in a hotel or another customer-facing environment.
• Ability to lead colleagues, communicate instructions clearly and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Sound awareness of emergency procedures, incident reporting and safe working practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Relevant security training, first-aid or fire-safety knowledge can be beneficial. A suitable candidate should be observant, professional, physically able to perform security duties and comfortable supporting a team across different shifts.
