Job Summary

Responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations, including receiving, tagging, stock movement, documentation, and coordination with delivery teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate merchandise handling and supports customer satisfaction by enabling efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Physically manage the movement of merchandise in and out of the warehouse, receiving room, holding room, and HVS (High Value Stock) room.
• Ensure products are stored as per the approved planogram for optimal accessibility and organization.

• Assist the Inventory Executive during merchandise receiving to streamline and expedite the process.

• Perform security tagging, shrink wrapping, and barcoding of merchandise in compliance with standard procedures.

• Generate gate passes for all merchandise transactions leaving or entering the warehouse as per company policy.

• Follow all warehouse and retail SOPs including staff discount policies and store opening/closing checklists.

• Coordinate with delivery drivers to facilitate timely customer deliveries.
• Collect required customer documentation upon successful delivery, such as acknowledgments or ID copies.

• Collect merchandise directly from suppliers when required and return to the warehouse with proper supporting documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Higher Secondary School Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent)

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Warehouse or Inventory Management

• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with inventory software or ERP systems
• Basic understanding of stock handling and warehouse safety standards
• Knowledge of retail or e-commerce logistics operations is a plus
