Assistant General Manager, Ling Ling

Atlantis The Royal is recruiting an Assistant General Manager for Ling Ling. The role supports the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing daily operations, service quality and the overall profitability of the restaurant. The Assistant General Manager helps develop team members, coordinates staffing and schedules, maintains operating procedures and works to deliver excellent guest service while controlling costs.

This is a hands-on management role requiring a strong guest focus and the ability to lead a diverse team under pressure. The manager will balance operational standards with sales performance, employee development, inventory control and guest feedback, helping the restaurant maintain a consistent and engaging dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager with daily operations and outlet profitability.
• Recruit, train, develop and communicate expectations to team members.
• Maintain guest-service standards, brand specifications and consistent operating procedures.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints and use findings to improve service.
• Monitor merchandising, displays and inventory levels.
• Support promotions, product introductions and team training.
• Review financial performance, sales projections, expenses and staffing requirements.
• Contribute to menu engineering, guest preference records and operational problem solving.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a luxury hotel is required; international experience is preferred.
• Strong team leadership and customer-service focus.
• Ability to work under pressure with a practical, hands-on management style.
