Description
Purpose of the Role
To manage the full-cycle recruitment process for Physicians at American Hospital Dubai. The role involves sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and ensuring the timely onboarding of highly qualified clinical professionals, aligned with AHD’s staffing plans and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Physician Recruitment & Sourcing
- Liaise regularly with department heads and clinical directors to identify staffing needs and recruitment priorities.
- Source CVs for budgeted and approved positions in accordance with the Management System for Records (MSR).
- Publish job postings on internal job boards, LinkedIn, and other approved portals.
- Actively source candidates using headhunting techniques, cold calling, and referrals.
- Screen candidates based on DHA eligibility criteria and AHD internal standards.
Candidate Assessment & Coordination
- Conduct initial interviews and assess candidates’ suitability before forwarding to department heads.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and physician leaders.
- Send timely interview reminders to candidates and interviewers.
- Participate in interview panels and ensure thorough documentation of interview outcomes.
- Maintain organized and accurate candidate profiles and shared folder updates.
Offer Management & Onboarding Support
- Ensure all recruitment requests are initiated in the iFusion system and all required forms are completed.
- Prepare and issue job offer letters, ensuring transparency and clarity for candidates.
- Guide selected candidates through the pre-employment process, including medical screening and DHA credentialing.
- Provide full documentation to the onboarding team for follow-up.
- Clarify candidate queries related to offers, compensation, benefits, or relocation.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain detailed recruitment reports and dashboards for leadership and CHRO review.
- Justify deviations for difficult-to-fill roles or salary exceptions.
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with internal policies and DHA regulations.
- Provide the HR Training team with lists of new physician joiners for orientation enrollment.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of hospital recruitment experience, specifically in physician or clinical hiring.
- Current or recent Middle East/GCC recruitment experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
Skills
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of DHA licensing and compliance requirements for physicians.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (e.g., iFusion).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Capable of building relationships with high-level clinical professionals and department leaders.
