Description
The Events Concierge welcomes and assists guests attending meetings, celebrations and other hotel events. The role helps attendees feel expected and well guided, supports the smooth movement of guests through event spaces and responds to questions with a professional and friendly manner. Careful coordination with event and operations teams helps ensure that each event begins and runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome event guests and provide clear directions to meeting rooms and event spaces.
- Assist with registration, guest lists, seating information and event-related enquiries.
- Coordinate with event organisers and hotel colleagues when guest requests require follow-up.
- Monitor arrival areas and event access points to maintain an organised guest flow.
- Respond courteously to special requests and communicate any service issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a polished appearance and uphold hotel standards throughout the event.
Requirements and Qualifications
- This position is designated for UAE Nationals.
- Guest service, hospitality or event support experience is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, welcoming approach.
- Ability to coordinate with hotel colleagues and assist event attendees professionally.
Skills and Personal Attributes
A strong candidate is welcoming, calm and organised, with an eye for detail and confidence speaking with guests. Teamwork, discretion and reliable follow-through support successful event delivery.
