F&B Manager

The F&B Manager oversees food and beverage operations and is accountable for service quality, team performance and efficient use of resources. The role aligns staffing, stock, operating procedures and customer experience to meet business objectives. It combines regular presence on the floor with planning, performance review and coordination across the departments that support dependable service. The successful applicant should be organised, dependable and committed to following operating procedures while helping the team deliver reliable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily food and beverage operations and ensure outlets are staffed, prepared and ready for service.
• Set clear expectations for service quality, food presentation, cleanliness and guest interaction.
• Lead, coach and schedule team members to support business demand and maintain reliable service coverage.
• Monitor inventory, wastage, supply requirements and controllable costs.
• Review customer feedback, service issues and operating results, implementing corrective actions where needed.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, health, safety and company procedures.
• Prepare operational updates and work with other departments to improve performance, service consistency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Relevant experience managing food and beverage or hospitality operations.
• Leadership capability and confidence coordinating multiple service priorities and teams.
• Strong customer focus with a practical understanding of stock, costs and service quality.
• Good planning, reporting and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hospitality, food and beverage management training or equivalent operational experience is relevant.
• Applicants should be able to demonstrate sound judgment, team leadership and responsibility for day-to-day performance.
