Description

The FP&A Manager provides management with timely financial analysis and recommendations across business units, channels and general-ledger areas. The role covers performance reporting, budgeting, strategy planning, balance-sheet and cash-flow reviews, and special analysis requested by leadership. It also supports consistent finance practices and looks for ways to make recurring reports and planning processes more efficient through automation and clearer procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare regular performance reports that explain sales, margin, overhead, inventory and capital expenditure results, highlighting variances and actions for management.
  • Review balance sheets and cash flows, analyse business-unit and channel trends, and use scenario analysis and benchmarking to support decisions.
  • Lead the budgeting cycle from guidance and system submissions through clarifications, management reviews and final presentations for senior leaders.
  • Coordinate strategic planning inputs, consolidate submissions, build management summaries and facilitate performance discussions with brands and countries.
  • Run ad-hoc analysis such as event, category and stock studies; improve reporting automation and maintain standard operating procedures and finance guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting, along with the stated Chartered Accountant qualification profile.
  • Bring seven to eight years of financial planning and analysis experience in a large, matrixed organization.
  • Be confident analysing financial performance at business-unit, channel and general-ledger level, including margins, costs, inventory and CAPEX.
  • Communicate complex results clearly and collaborate with finance, brands, countries, shared services and controllership teams.

Skills

The role suits a structured finance professional with strong presentation skills, financial modelling knowledge and an interest in simplifying reporting and planning processes.
