Plumber

The Plumber supports the installation, inspection and repair of water supply, drainage and sanitary systems in assigned buildings or facilities. The role includes diagnosing leaks or blockages, replacing faulty fittings and keeping records of maintenance work. Careful troubleshooting and attention to safety help prevent property damage and service disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect pipework, valves, taps, drains and sanitary fixtures for leaks or damage.
• Carry out authorized repairs, replacements and routine plumbing maintenance.
• Investigate blockages or pressure concerns and recommend further repair where needed.
• Use tools and materials safely and keep the work area clean after completion.
• Record work performed and report defects or material needs to the supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should have practical plumbing knowledge relevant to building maintenance. Trade training or related experience is helpful. Safe tool use, troubleshooting and the ability to coordinate with other maintenance trades are important.

Work Approach
