Description
Director Entertainment Technology is an opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day work of Majid Al Futtaim in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for entertainment systems, infrastructure and guest-facing technology in line with business objectives.
- Guide the design, procurement, deployment and lifecycle management of systems used in attractions, venues and related operations.
- Oversee major technology projects, vendor relationships, budgets, risk controls and implementation schedules.
- Establish standards for resilience, service availability, cybersecurity, maintenance and technical support.
- Work with operations, finance, project teams and external partners to improve experiences, control costs and evaluate new solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Substantial experience leading technology, engineering or technical operations in entertainment, leisure, attractions or a comparable environment.
- A record of delivering complex projects and managing suppliers, budgets, risk and service performance.
- Ability to translate business needs into a practical technology roadmap and communicate decisions to senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safe and reliable operations.
