Specialized Engineer-Energy & Sustainability

Transguard Group is hiring a Specialized Engineer – Energy & Sustainability to support its Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. The role supports energy and sustainability initiatives through research, analysis, utility monitoring, audits, technical assessments, compliance activities, and efficiency projects. The position also provides technical support to clients, coordinates improvement projects with facility teams and vendors, and contributes to sustainability services and performance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support energy-management strategies covering electricity, water, sewage, waste, and utility efficiency.
• Conduct energy, water, and waste audits and prepare action plans for consumption reduction.
• Perform or support ASHRAE Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 energy audits.
• Assess facilities and prepare energy-performance, sustainability, ESG, and utility reports.
• Support clients with sustainability certifications, regulatory compliance, and energy-management objectives.
• Coordinate with facility managers, property managers, project teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop feasibility studies, project requirements, technical recommendations, bid support, and client presentations.
• Deliver training and awareness initiatives related to energy and sustainability.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, performance optimization, and new sustainability services.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering, science, energy, sustainability, or facilities-management background is expected.
• Strong analytical, reporting, technical, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Knowledge of energy auditing, utilities, sustainability standards, and FM operations is advantageous.
