Senior Manager – Security

The Senior Manager - Security will lead and strengthen EGA’s Security function across physical, personnel and information-related domains. The role is responsible for protecting critical assets, reducing unauthorised access and information leakage, and improving security controls across employees, contractors and third parties. The position calls for a proactive, intelligence-led approach to security, including insider-risk management, access control, security governance, resilience and alignment with regulatory and national-security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security enhancement initiatives designed to address identified maturity gaps.
• Strengthen security governance, policies and controls across operations.
• Establish mechanisms to assess security effectiveness and resilience on an ongoing basis.
• Manage personnel-security and insider-risk considerations across the organisation.
• Support access-control and security-system effectiveness and address emerging security threats.
• Protect critical assets and reduce risks involving unauthorised access, information leakage and digital exposure.
• Manage security matters involving employees, contractors and third parties.
• Operate within regulatory and national-security requirements and support high-risk security scenarios.
• Provide leadership and stakeholder management across complex, multi-site environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification in Security, Risk or Crisis Management is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in security operations and risk management, preferably in industrial or critical-infrastructure environments.
• At least 5 to 7 years in managerial roles.
• Strong knowledge of physical and personnel security frameworks.
• Experience in insider-risk management and access-control systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory and national-security requirements.
• Ability to manage sensitive and high-risk situations, complex multi-site environments and digital security-monitoring tools.
