Description
The UX/UI Designer develops clear, useful and engaging digital experiences across web and mobile channels. The role combines customer research, interaction design, interface design and performance measurement to make digital journeys easier to understand and complete. In an airline environment, design choices may influence booking, servicing, engagement and customer retention. The candidate should be comfortable collaborating with product owners, developers, researchers and business stakeholders from early discovery through release and iteration.
Key Responsibilities
- Research user needs and map journeys, turning insights into flows, wireframes, prototypes and polished interface designs.
- Create and maintain design-system components, interaction patterns and accessible visual layouts across digital products.
- Run usability reviews or experiments and incorporate feedback and analytics into design improvements.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements, review implementation and resolve experience gaps.
- Present design decisions with clear rationale and measure the impact of changes on engagement and task completion.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Practical experience in UX/UI or digital product design and a portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
- Knowledge of user research, prototyping, interaction design, responsive layouts and accessibility principles.
- Comfort using common design and collaboration tools and working with developers on implementation details.
- A data-informed, customer-focused approach and the ability to manage feedback across multiple stakeholders.
