The Senior Specialist - Data Engineering builds and supports data pipelines and platforms that make information reliable and accessible for reporting and analysis. The role involves integrating data from different systems, maintaining quality and performance, and working with stakeholders to support business and analytical needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data pipelines and integration workflows for assigned data products.
- Apply data validation, transformation and monitoring practices to improve reliability.
- Investigate pipeline failures, performance issues and data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with analytics, application and business teams to clarify data needs.
- Document data flows, technical decisions and operational procedures for support and governance.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates should have relevant data-engineering experience and strong technical problem-solving skills. SQL, scripting, data integration and modern data-platform knowledge are useful. The precise technology stack depends on the systems in use.
