The Senior Specialist - Data Engineering & Analytics combines data-platform work with analytical delivery to support informed business decisions. The role helps make data usable, consistent and accessible by developing pipelines, shaping datasets and collaborating on reporting or analytical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business and analytical needs into reliable datasets and data-processing workflows.
- Build or improve pipelines, transformations and data models used by reporting and analysis.
- Validate completeness, consistency and accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate with business, analytics and application teams on definitions and data dependencies.
- Document data lineage, technical logic and operating procedures for ongoing support.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates should have relevant experience in data engineering, analytics or data-platform delivery. SQL, data modelling, pipeline development and strong analytical communication are useful. Specific tools depend on the organization’s technology environment.
