Analyst – Cyber Defense Centre (UAEN)

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is recruiting an Analyst for its Cyber Defense Centre in Abu Dhabi, with the role designated for UAE nationals. The position monitors real-time and historical security events to identify unusual activity, policy violations and potential cyber incidents. It supports investigation, triage, response coordination and remediation through to closure, helping protect the bank’s technology environment and information assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts to identify anomalies, suspicious activity, policy violations and potential cyber risks.
• Perform initial incident triage, gather relevant evidence and assess the likely severity and scope of security events.
• Support forensic analysis by documenting timelines, indicators and findings in a clear and repeatable manner.
• Coordinate with relevant technology and business teams on containment, remediation and incident closure.
• Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to reporting, handover records and continuous improvement of monitoring procedures.
• Escalate urgent or complex incidents promptly and follow established security processes and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bring relevant study, training or practical exposure in cybersecurity, networks, information technology or security operations.

• Relevant education, technical training or equivalent practical experience in the field is beneficial; any mandatory credential should be confirmed before applying.
