Description
Qatar Duty Free is recruiting a Bartender for its food and beverage operations at Hamad International Airport in Doha. The role prepares and serves cocktails, mocktails and other beverages while maintaining strong guest engagement, consistent recipes and responsible stock and cash handling. It also supports hygiene, cost control and the overall dining experience.
Airport hospitality brings changing demand and guests from many backgrounds. Professional presentation, hygiene, courteous communication and support for colleagues help maintain a positive and consistent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails and other beverages according to approved recipes and service standards.
- Engage with guests, understand their preferences and communicate product choices clearly.
- Process orders and payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
- Record wastage and report discrepancies to support cost control and accurate stock management.
- Maintain the bar, utensils and equipment in a clean and hygienic condition.
- Follow food-safety procedures, cooperate with restaurant colleagues and respond to guest concerns professionally.
Requirements
- High-school qualification and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of restaurant and hospitality operations, beverage preparation and guest service is useful.
- Candidates should understand food-safety and hygiene practices and be comfortable with cash and POS processes.
- Adaptability, teamwork, clear communication and attention to guest needs are important.
