Digital Designer – Internal Communication

The Digital Designer – Internal Communication role supports clear and engaging communication across the organisation through thoughtful visual design. The successful candidate will turn messages, updates and campaign ideas into polished digital assets that are easy for employees to understand and consistent with the organisation’s visual identity. The position combines creative thinking, practical design execution and collaboration with internal stakeholders. The successful applicant should be organised, dependable and committed to following operating procedures while helping the team deliver reliable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Create digital graphics, layouts, presentations and communication materials for employee announcements, internal campaigns and business updates.
• Translate briefs and complex information into clear visual messages suitable for different employee groups and communication channels.
• Apply visual identity guidelines consistently across typography, colour, imagery, templates and other design elements.
• Work with internal communications, human resources and departmental stakeholders to clarify objectives, audiences, deadlines and approval requirements.
• Adapt creative assets for appropriate formats, screen sizes and digital platforms while maintaining legibility and visual quality.
• Organise working files, reusable templates and approved assets so that materials can be updated and reused efficiently.
• Review designs carefully, incorporate feedback constructively and deliver final artwork within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• A portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, layout, typography and communication design skills.
• Confidence interpreting creative briefs and converting business messages into accessible visual content.
• Attention to detail, reliable file organisation and the ability to manage several assignments at once.
• Professional communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• A qualification in graphic design, digital media, visual communication or a related field is relevant to the role.
