Description
Emirates Global Aluminium is hiring a Senior Manager - International ESG to ensure that its international subsidiaries follow robust environmental, sustainability and governance policies, procedures and reporting standards. The position aligns global operations with EGA’s ESG strategy by establishing measurable KPIs, supporting compliance with international and corporate requirements and overseeing accurate ESG data collection and reporting. The role also works with subsidiary leadership, regional teams and external partners to strengthen sustainability practices and ESG capability across international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor ESG policies and procedures across international subsidiaries while considering global standards and local regulations.
- Define measurable ESG KPIs for international entities and align them with the company’s global reporting framework.
- Oversee collection, validation and reporting of ESG data to support accurate and timely global ESG disclosures.
- Engage with subsidiary leadership, regional teams and external partners to encourage consistent ESG adoption.
- Develop and deliver training that helps subsidiary teams understand ESG policies, procedures and reporting requirements.
- Identify and assess ESG-related risks in international operations and provide recommendations to mitigate those risks.
- Support alignment of subsidiary practices with EGA’s corporate ESG strategy and requirements.
- Help build a consistent sustainability culture across geographically diverse operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
- At least 12 years of experience in ESG, sustainability or corporate social responsibility.
- At least 5 years of experience in a global or international context.
- Proven record of developing and implementing ESG policies, procedures or reporting frameworks.
- Strong ability to work with international stakeholders and translate ESG requirements into practical operating processes.
