Senior Project Manager

Al Tayer Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in cloud migration to lead complex infrastructure transformation programmes and ensure stable post-migration operations. The role covers hybrid environments spanning multi-cloud and on-premise platforms and requires strong programme governance, stakeholder management and delivery leadership. The Project Manager will work with business teams, IT specialists, Finance, QA, Audit and vendors to plan migration programmes aligned with long-term technology objectives. Responsibilities include establishing project plans, baselines, schedules, resource requirements, budgets and acceptance criteria, while ensuring deliverables are reviewed and formally signed off. The position also drives governance, risk management, cross-functional coordination and transition of completed services into operational environments. Technical understanding is required across Azure, with AWS desirable, Microsoft 365 transformation, digital workplace technologies, cloud governance, FinOps, security and compliance, core infrastructure, monitoring and disaster recovery. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field and 12–15+ years of IT experience, including substantial experience managing multi-site infrastructure and enterprise programmes. Experience with large budgets, sizeable teams, multiple vendors and retail, automotive, distribution or shared-services environments is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the core responsibilities described for the position while maintaining company procedures, service standards and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with relevant internal teams, customers, suppliers or project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and databases and provide updates to management on progress, issues and required actions.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying operational issues, customer requirements and opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
• 12–15+ years of IT experience
• Minimum 8 years managing multi-site IT infrastructure and enterprise programmes
• Experience managing AED 10m+ programmes and teams of 20–50+ resources
• Azure experience is mandatory; AWS desirable
• Strong governance, stakeholder, vendor and risk-management skills
