Description

The Enterprise Architecture Manager will provide strategic leadership for architecture practices across a large public-sector environment. The position connects business priorities, technology investment and digital transformation, ensuring architecture decisions are governed consistently and contribute to resilient, sustainable and future-ready services. This is a full-time opportunity based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture vision aligned with digital strategy, government direction, business priorities and emerging technology trends.
  • Lead the definition and review of current-state and target-state architecture models and guide technology transition plans.
  • Strengthen architecture governance, principles, standards, review processes and compliance mechanisms across agencies and sectors.
  • Lead architecture review activities, validate major technology decisions and ensure projects remain aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Maintain an enterprise architecture repository that provides traceability and consistency across systems and technology domains.
  • Direct demand analysis, business cases and requirements practices so that technology solutions respond effectively to organizational needs.
  • Oversee specialist suppliers, procurement activities, service performance, budgets and delivery risks associated with architecture initiatives.
  • Drive framework improvement, emerging-technology adoption, cost optimization, cross-agency accountability and capability development within the architecture team.

Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate the technical knowledge, analytical ability and stakeholder skills needed to operate effectively in a structured public-sector environment.

  • UAE National.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, information systems or a related discipline.
  • At least 12 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree or 14 years with a bachelor’s degree.
  • TOGAF certification and PMP certification.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, technology governance, digital transformation and strategic planning.
  • Proven leadership, stakeholder-management, vendor-management and team-development capabilities.
