HEAD, PROJECT ENGINEERING (QATARENERGY PARK)

Serve as the senior engineering authority for the infrastructure and civil scope of the QatarEnergy MIC Business Park major project. Lead and govern discipline engineering through the project lifecycle, balancing technical integrity, project objectives, safety, quality, delivery time and cost.

The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Set engineering direction for infrastructure, civil works, landscape, parks and public-realm packages.
• Lead multidisciplinary design coordination and resolve interfaces across engineering, construction and project management.
• Review design deliverables and ensure compliance with corporate standards, project requirements and industry practice.
• Manage engineering resources, schedules, budgets, risks and quality across several workstreams.
• Communicate progress, decisions and technical issues through reports, presentations and project meetings.

Requirements and Experience

• At least 15 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and civil projects is required.
• Ten years leading discipline engineering teams on major projects, including at least five years in team management, is sought.
• Experience with parks, public realm, landscape and civil infrastructure delivery is relevant.

Qualifications

BSc in an engineering discipline; professional engineering association membership; PMP is advantageous
