Teller (UAEN only ) – Pipeline ( Abu Dhabi )

The Teller in Abu Dhabi provides accurate and efficient teller services while following Emirates Islamic policies, operational procedures, Shariah principles and regulatory requirements. The role processes cash and non-cash transactions, maintains cash-balancing standards and provides customer service. It also supports product referrals and branch operations while applying AML, KYC, sanctions-screening and fraud-prevention controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional customer service and minimize customer waiting time.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, remittances, cheque deposits, Manager's Cheques and other teller transactions accurately.
• Verify customer identity and transaction documentation before processing.
• Operate within delegated authority and established procedures.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions accurately at the end of the day.
• Maintain cash holdings and safeguard cash and security items within prescribed limits.
• Follow AML, KYC, sanctions-screening and fraud-prevention controls.
• Identify and escalate suspicious transactions or unusual customer activity.
• Maintain confidentiality and support audit and Shariah-governance requirements.
• Identify customer needs and refer appropriate banking-product opportunities to support branch objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Zero to two years of banking, customer-service, retail-operations or cash-handling experience.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• High attention to accuracy, compliance and cash-control procedures.
