Assistant Relationship Manager – CMB Assets

The Assistant Relationship Manager – CMB Assets supports Relationship Managers in managing business-banking portfolios, preparing credit proposals and coordinating facility documentation and transactions. The role combines credit analysis, customer coordination, account monitoring and operational follow-up. It requires strong attention to financial information, credit conditions and documentation while maintaining compliance and audit-ready records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare credit proposals, financial spreads and supporting credit analysis for Relationship Manager review.
• Liaise with customers to obtain financial information, documentation and transaction requirements.
• Support structuring, documentation and utilization of credit facilities.
• Monitor account conduct, facility utilization, excesses, past dues, risk triggers and covenants.
• Manage daily customer transactions, payments and settlements while supporting account profitability.
• Coordinate with internal teams to complete facility documentation, limit setup, drawdowns and trade-related transactions.
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready credit files.
• Review facility letters and security documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to resolve them.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable banking, trade-finance and cash-management requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least two years of SME or Corporate Credit Analysis experience.
• Knowledge of banking products, credit processes and operations.
• Strong analytical, communication and customer-relationship skills.
