Job overview: Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Assistant Relationship Manager, Manufacturing (UAE National) to join its banking team in the United Arab Emirates. Support relationship management for corporate customers in the manufacturing sector. The role assists with client servicing, business development and credit activity, helping the relationship team maintain strong customer coverage and portfolio quality. The successful candidate will work with colleagues and stakeholders to support reliable service, sound decisions and the bank’s operating standards. This vacancy is intended for UAE Nationals.
Key responsibilities
- Support relationship managers in servicing and growing an assigned manufacturing-sector client portfolio.
- Assist with identifying new business opportunities and maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
- Gather financial and business information for credit reviews, proposals and facility renewals.
- Coordinate customer requests with product, credit, operations and other support functions.
- Monitor client developments and maintain accurate call reports, pipeline information and portfolio records.
- Help ensure that relationship activity follows bank policies and relevant risk and compliance controls.
Requirements and qualifications
- Candidates should have 3–5 years of corporate banking experience, including 2 years of exposure to Corporate Banking in the UAE.
- Exposure to one or more emerging markets is considered ideal.
- Understanding of credit analysis, corporate banking products and relationship support is important.
- Demonstrated ability to organise work, manage priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
- A professional approach, sound judgement and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality are important.
