Buyer, Women’s Intimates & Sleepwear

Job Overview

Landmark Group is seeking a Buyer, Women's Intimates & Sleepwear in Dubai. The position manages assortment, pricing and product mix for women's intimates and sleepwear, with responsibility for commercial performance, supplier relationships and seasonal range development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal buying strategies aligned with brand positioning and business objectives.
• Build assortment plans covering silhouettes, fabrics, colours and price architecture.
• Partner with Design, Planning, Merchandising and Visual Merchandising teams to develop commercially viable ranges.
• Research fashion trends, customer behaviour, competitor assortments and market opportunities.
• Use sales and customer insights to support demand forecasting and future buys.
• Source and develop global supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, MOQs, delivery schedules and payment terms.
• Lead fitting, sampling and product finalisation while monitoring supplier quality and compliance.
• Manage Open-to-Buy plans and monitor sales, margin, stock turn, sell-through and markdown performance.
• Take corrective action on slow- and fast-moving products and support promotional planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing private-label women's intimates ranges.
• Experience in fast-fashion or high-volume retail environments.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and trend forecasting skills.
• Experience managing vendor networks and international sourcing.

Candidate Profile & Role Expectations

This is an end-to-end category buying position where commercial decisions need to be supported by customer insight, product knowledge and financial discipline. The role requires close coordination with Design, Planning, Sourcing and Visual Merchandising so that products are commercially relevant, correctly priced and available at the right time. Supplier negotiation and product development are also central to the position, particularly during fitting, sampling and final approval.
