Unit Head, Syndicate & Corporate Loan Admin

Job overview: Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Unit Head, Syndicate & Corporate Loan Admin to join its banking team in the United Arab Emirates. Lead administration and control of syndicated and corporate loan transactions through their lifecycle. The role combines technical documentation knowledge with operational leadership and process improvement to support accurate, controlled loan servicing. The successful candidate will work with colleagues and stakeholders to support reliable service, sound decisions and the bank’s operating standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of syndicated and corporate loan facilities, including key lifecycle events and ongoing servicing.
• Review complex facility documentation and ensure operational activities reflect agreed loan terms and LMA-standard requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, lenders, agents and other transaction parties to resolve administration matters.
• Maintain appropriate controls, documentation, reconciliations and records across loan administration activities.
• Lead process re-engineering, digitisation, automation and system initiatives that improve service quality and efficiency.
• Manage senior stakeholders and support audit, control and regulatory remediation where required.

Requirements and qualifications

• Strong exposure to complex syndicated loans and LMA-standard facility documentation and loan lifecycle events is required.
• Proven experience leading strategic initiatives, system implementations, process re-engineering, digitisation or operating-model transformation is required.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and delivering audit, control or regulatory remediation is important.
• Demonstrated ability to organise work, manage priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
• A professional approach, sound judgement and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality are important.
