Assistant Manager – Export & Bills Operations (For Emirati Talent)

DIB is hiring an Assistant Manager - Export & Bills Operations in Dubai to manage daily activities within an assigned trade operations sub-unit. The role is responsible for accurate transaction processing, operational controls, reconciliations, regulatory checks, reporting and process improvement while supporting efficient delivery of trade-related services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations within the assigned sub-unit in accordance with approved standard operating procedures and control requirements.
• Process transactions accurately within agreed service levels and approved authority limits.
• Review supporting documents for completeness and compliance with applicable procedures before transactions are executed.
• Check, verify and authorize vouchers, requisitions and related transaction documentation as required.
• Prepare accurate management information reports and ensure statutory reporting requirements are met within agreed timelines.
• Maintain complete and updated records and ensure documentation can be retrieved efficiently for review or audit.
• Oversee month-end reconciliation and balancing of relevant suspense, general ledger, Nostro and Vostro accounts.
• Ensure appropriate AML, KYC, financial-risk and operational-risk checks are completed whenever required.
• Support the sub-unit head with initiatives that improve processes, controls, efficiency and service quality.
• Provide performance feedback to direct reports and contribute to employee development and performance improvement.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of banking products, trade transactions, customer information and operational processes.

Requirements

• Emirati national eligible for the role.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 4–6 years of banking experience, preferably in trade finance or operations.
• Strong knowledge of transaction controls, reconciliations and regulatory checks.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability and operational-risk awareness.
