Key Responsibilities

• assessing credit applications and exposures, reviewing financial information, applying credit policy, identifying risk factors, documenting recommendations, monitoring portfolios and supporting prudent lending decisions.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and system updates while protecting confidential customer and business information.
• Follow internal policies, operational procedures, risk controls and applicable regulatory requirements relevant to the assigned function.
• Work closely with colleagues and other departments to resolve queries, complete requests and meet agreed service levels.
• Prepare or contribute to reports, trackers, management information and other documentation required by the team.
• Identify process gaps, errors or exceptions and escalate matters appropriately to the responsible stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive customer and employee experience.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business or a related field with relevant credit or risk experience. Strong analytical ability, financial statement knowledge, credit assessment skills and attention to policy are required.

• Good written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to stakeholder interaction.
