Senior Engineer – Assets Reliability & Systems – Mechanical

Dubai Airports is seeking a Senior Engineer to support asset reliability and engineering systems across its airport environment. The role is focused on improving the reliability, performance and useful life of mechanical and HVAC-related assets while helping control maintenance costs and reduce operational disruption. The visible technical scope includes chillers, hydraulic networks, pumping systems and building management systems. The engineer will work with maintenance and operations colleagues to strengthen asset management, improve equipment performance and support safe, efficient airport operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reliability assessments and failure analysis for HVAC assets, including chillers, hydraulic networks, pumping systems and BMS systems.
• Develop and implement reliability improvement plans that enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Lead root cause investigations into equipment failures and recommend suitable corrective and preventive actions.
• Work with maintenance and operations teams to improve maintenance strategies and manage assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Monitor equipment condition and performance trends using data analysis and reliability tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support safe, efficient and reliable airport operations.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Five to seven years of relevant overall experience.
• Knowledge of equipment criticality and risk-based maintenance approaches, including FMECA, REM and root cause analysis.
• Practical knowledge and experience with HVAC systems and related asset classes.
• A strong understanding of reliability engineering, condition monitoring and failure investigation techniques.
• Proficiency in relevant reliability tools and software systems.
