Industrial Engineering Specialist

The Industrial Engineering Specialist supports the performance and productivity of package operations by measuring work, reviewing operational results and helping teams plan resources effectively. The position uses operational data and structured audits to compare actual performance with business targets and required service standards. It also contributes to work measurement and job design so that operational plans are practical, accurate and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor productivity targets at package-operational level in line with the wider business plan.
• Carry out regular audits covering performance, service, work measurement, operating plans and staffing standards.
• Review audit findings, identify strengths and improvement areas, and communicate observations that can support better operational decisions.
• Develop and maintain accurate work-measurement systems to support operational planning and effective job design.
• Use relevant operational information and financial concepts to support analysis, presentations and discussions about performance.
• Work with operational colleagues to understand working methods, follow up on measurements and support continuous improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Around one to two years of professional experience and/or relevant internship experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, with Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Advanced English skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
• Knowledge of, or an interest in, financial analysis concepts and terminology.
• Availability for business travel and a valid Class B driving licence with active driving experience.
• For male candidates, completion of compulsory military service is specified.
