Description
The Executive – Digital Content supports ARN’s digital team by producing timely, accurate content for news and audience platforms. The work combines video capture and editing, interviews, Arabic-language publishing and coverage of live events or developing stories. The postholder collaborates with journalists, presenters and producers to keep digital content organised, relevant and aligned with editorial and legal standards.
Dubai Holding Entertainment seeks a dependable professional who can work collaboratively, exercise good judgement and help improve results over time. Solutions should be useful, secure and measurable, with appropriate human oversight and a clear understanding of data limitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture video for news stories, interviews, events and special assignments.
- Edit, produce and publish video and Arabic digital content for websites, mobile apps and social channels.
- Interview spokespersons, government officials, guests and other stakeholders when assigned.
- Monitor breaking news and trending subjects to identify relevant digital coverage opportunities.
- Maintain accurate content uploads, asset archives, approvals and supporting material.
- Review performance and share ideas to improve audience engagement while following editorial and brand standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A high-school qualification, bachelor’s degree or similar qualification in Journalism, Media, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in digital media, news production, journalism, content creation or social media.
- Strong Arabic writing and editing skills; English communication is also useful.
- Ability to work accurately and respond quickly in a fast-moving news environment.
