Senior Officer AML & CFT ( UAE National )

Support anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing controls through monitoring, review, risk assessment, escalation and accurate regulatory documentation. This position is suited to a professional who can combine sound judgement, customer or stakeholder focus and disciplined execution in a regulated banking environment.

Role Context

Key Responsibilities

• Perform AML and CFT reviews in accordance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assess customer and transaction information for financial-crime risk indicators and unusual activity.
• Support customer due diligence, enhanced reviews, screening and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Document findings, decisions and escalation rationale clearly and maintain complete case records.
• Coordinate with business, operations, compliance and control teams to resolve identified risks.
• Prepare reports and management information covering cases, risks, exceptions and remediation actions.
• Contribute to control improvements, quality assurance and financial-crime awareness initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, compliance or a related field.
• Relevant AML, CFT, KYC or financial-crime compliance experience.
• Strong analytical, investigative and documentation skills.
• AML or compliance certification is advantageous.
