Physiotherapist (UAE National)

Job Overview

SEHA is seeking a UAE National Physiotherapist to provide safe, effective and evidence-based physiotherapy services. The position involves assessment and treatment, interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, patient and family communication, quality assurance and support for junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and evidence-based treatment within the defined scope of practice.
• Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals when combined treatment or management is required.
• Develop and deliver individualized rehabilitation interventions based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Document assessments, interventions, progress and outcomes accurately in the approved format.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families and care providers and explain procedures, treatment plans and progress.
• Supervise junior staff where required and support adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain required supplies and equipment and support safe, effective use of physiotherapy resources.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality-assurance activities and service-improvement initiatives.
• Support student education and training activities when assigned.
• Maintain patient safety, safeguarding, infection-control and professional standards at all times.

Requirements

• UAE National candidates only.
• Minimum 2 years of physiotherapy experience in a large hospital or relevant clinical setting.
• Relevant experience with patient diagnoses commonly treated in acute-care or rehabilitation facilities.
• Experience in ICU or acute medical/surgical environments is desirable.
• One year of demonstrated leadership experience is desirable.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation and multidisciplinary-working skills.
