Equipment Operator – Join Our Talent Pool

Qatar Airways Group is building a talent pool for Equipment Operators in Doha. This operational role supports airport and ground-service activities through the safe operation and positioning of assigned equipment. Operators help teams meet service schedules by following instructions, checking equipment condition and complying with airport, ramp-safety and workplace procedures.

The successful candidate is expected to follow established procedures, keep relevant records accurate and maintain open communication with colleagues. Operational priorities may change during a shift, so flexibility, sound judgment and the ability to complete assigned work safely and on time are important.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned vehicles or ground-support equipment only within approved authorisations and training.
• Complete basic pre-use checks and report defects, damage or equipment issues before work begins.
• Position equipment safely for the task and follow instructions from supervisors and operational teams.
• Support on-time service delivery while observing ramp movement rules, restricted-area procedures and safety instructions.
• Maintain required logs and handover information for equipment use or operational incidents.
• Keep work areas orderly and use required personal protective equipment throughout assigned duties.

Requirements

• Relevant equipment-operation or driving experience is useful; role-specific licences and authorisations may be required for assigned equipment.
• Candidates should be safety-conscious, punctual and able to follow operational instructions accurately.
• Airport, logistics, transport or ground-handling experience is an advantage.
• Flexibility for shifts and changing operational demands is important.
