Description
Qatar Airways is recruiting a Development Engineer Level 2 for In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) and Connectivity within Continuing Airworthiness Management in Doha. The role reviews applicable airworthiness requirements, monitors system and component reliability, analyses operational issues and proposes solutions to maintain reliable aircraft dispatch and cost-effective performance.
Engineering decisions must follow approved documentation and licence authority. Clear records, safe task execution and early communication of technical risks help maintain airworthiness, quality and operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Review applicable continuing-airworthiness requirements and support their implementation within the approved CAMO framework.
- Analyse reliability alerts relating to aircraft systems, components and aircraft dispatch.
- Identify recurring technical issues, evaluate options and propose implementation plans to maintain reliability and cost targets.
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance and operational stakeholders on IFE and connectivity issues.
- Document technical analysis, recommendations and follow-up actions in accordance with company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of reliability monitoring and engineering processes.
Requirements
- A relevant engineering degree or recognised technical qualification is expected for this engineering role.
- Experience in aircraft systems, IFE, connectivity, reliability engineering or continuing airworthiness is relevant.
- Candidates should understand aviation regulations, technical data and structured problem-solving methods.
- Good analysis, documentation and stakeholder-coordination skills are important.
