Job Overview

The Scrum Master supports delivery teams by improving collaboration, removing blockers and helping work move predictably from planning to release. Within everyday and business banking, the role connects product priorities, engineering delivery and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives and other team ceremonies.
• Help product owners and teams maintain clear priorities, refined backlogs and realistic delivery goals.
• Identify blockers, dependencies and delivery risks, then coordinate timely resolution.
• Promote continuous improvement, transparency and effective collaboration across business and technology teams.
• Track delivery flow, team capacity, sprint outcomes and agreed quality measures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and other delivery teams to manage dependencies and communicate progress.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience working with Agile teams and facilitating Scrum or similar delivery practices is relevant.
• Knowledge of backlog management, iterative delivery, dependency management and continuous improvement is useful.
• Banking or digital-product delivery experience is beneficial for work in everyday or business banking.
• Candidates should be organised, collaborative and able to challenge constructively without taking over the team’s work.
