Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable (UAE National)

Job overview: Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Assistant Manager, Accounts Payable (UAE National) to join its banking team in the United Arab Emirates. Support the accounts payable function and help ensure that supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with financial controls. Key responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, checking and processing of supplier invoices and supporting documents.
• Verify approvals, coding and payment details before invoices move through the payment process.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and investigate differences, duplicate items or outstanding balances.
• Follow up with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice and payment queries.
• Maintain accurate payable records and support month-end close, audit requests and management reporting.
• Apply internal controls and escalation procedures to help prevent errors, delays and unauthorised payments.

Requirements and qualifications

• Relevant experience in accounts payable, finance operations or accounting is beneficial.
• Understanding of invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and payment controls is important.
• This position is reserved for a UAE National.
• Demonstrated ability to organise work, manage priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
• A professional approach, sound judgement and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality are important.
