Manager – Finance

The Manager - Finance acts as a finance partner to business leadership and supports strong financial reporting, cash-flow management, planning, control, and performance analysis. The role helps protect company assets, monitor profitability, optimise working capital, and provide decision-makers with timely information. It combines technical finance responsibilities with operational collaboration, requiring accurate reporting, effective forecasting, compliance discipline, and a practical understanding of how financial results connect to business activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the integrity and timeliness of financial reporting, account reconciliations, period-end processes, and management information.
• Prepare or coordinate budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and variance analysis to support business planning.
• Monitor financial performance, profitability, costs, and working capital, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain effective financial controls and support compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
• Work with operational leaders to explain financial outcomes, assess proposals, and support well-informed commercial decisions.
• Help improve finance processes, safeguard assets, and deliver clear reports for senior management.

Requirements

• Experience in finance or accounting roles with exposure to management reporting and business performance analysis.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial control, and working-capital management.
• Ability to maintain accuracy while managing deadlines, confidential data, and multiple stakeholder requests.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
