Finance Officer

Qatar Airways is recruiting a Finance Officer in Doha to support day-to-day financial operations, accurate accounting records and compliance. The role includes accounts payable, supplier reconciliation, invoice matching, reporting and audit support. It also requires timely follow-up of payment queries and careful handling of finance information in accordance with company controls.

Financial work must be accurate, documented and aligned with approved controls. Confidentiality, timely investigation of exceptions and effective use of financial systems support reliable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review supplier invoices and route them to the appropriate division or department for approval.
• Manage accounts-payable activity and match invoices to purchase orders, contract schedules and payments.
• Follow up outstanding invoices, unapproved amounts and discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and prepare account analysis or historical data for reporting and budgeting.
• Support cashier and credit-card duties when required and maintain relevant operational records.
• Assist internal and external audits and ensure financial transactions follow approved company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• ACCA, CMA or CPA qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Financials, together with knowledge of accounting controls and reporting is useful.
