Accounts Receivable Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Executive to manage the end-to-end customer invoicing and collection process. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring timely billing, submission, and collection of payments. The ideal candidate will also support the finance and project teams in capturing accurate project costs and enhancing financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Invoice Creation

• Generate accurate trade and project-based invoices in line with company policies and contractual terms.
• Verify supporting documents before invoice generation to ensure completeness.

2. Invoice Submission

• Ensure timely and proper delivery of invoices and related documents to clients via email, portals, or hard copies as required.
• Maintain records of all submitted invoices for reference and audit purposes.

3. Receivables Follow-Up

• Monitor the accounts receivable aging report and follow up regularly with customers for outstanding payments.
• Address and resolve any billing disputes or issues in coordination with the sales and project teams.
• Escalate long-overdue accounts and assist in collection strategies.

4. Project Costing Support

• Assist in collecting and recording project-related expenses.
• Support the finance team in allocating costs accurately to projects for profitability analysis.
• Coordinate with project teams for timely receipt of cost data and relevant documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably in a project-based environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
