Senior Operator – Water Pumps System

NOV is looking for a Senior Operator to oversee seawater pumping systems and related equipment supporting offshore drilling operations. The position combines hands-on operation with coordination of technicians, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and safe work control. The operator will help maintain a reliable supply of water by monitoring system performance, responding to operational issues and keeping accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, commissioning and operation of seawater pumps and associated equipment.
• Operate and monitor high- and low-pressure pumping systems to maintain safe, continuous water supply.
• Coordinate daily work for operators and technicians and communicate operational needs with the office team.
• Carry out routine inspections, assist preventive maintenance and investigate mechanical or operating problems.
• Maintain operational logs, maintenance reports and permit-to-work documentation.
• Coordinate planning, logistics, reporting and equipment requirements to resolve issues without unnecessary delay.
• Follow client procedures, offshore safety standards and applicable HSE requirements at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience in offshore oil and gas, water treatment or seawater pumping operations. Hands-on knowledge of centrifugal, booster and high-pressure pumps is required, together with commissioning, operation and maintenance experience. Familiarity with ADNOC offshore practices, Permit to Work systems and HSE requirements is important. Team-lead experience is preferred. Offshore certificates such as BOSIET/TBOSIET, H2S or ADNOC WMS are advantageous.

Skills and Employment Details

The role requires sound troubleshooting, safe decision-making, communication, shift coordination and accurate documentation.
