Project Engineer (Pump Packages)

NOV is seeking a Project Engineer to lead delivery of complex pump-package projects across production and midstream technologies. The position manages the project lifecycle from order handover through engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, shipment, commissioning support and close-out. The engineer acts as a central contact for technical, commercial and execution matters and ensures work is delivered against contractual scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Logistics, Service, vendors and customers to deliver project milestones.
• Maintain project schedules, deliverable registers, risk registers, action trackers, material status, change logs and close-out plans.
• Monitor progress, costs, invoicing milestones, risks and changes, taking action to protect schedule and budget.
• Lead kick-off, technical clarification, design-review and progress meetings, and resolve interface issues promptly.
• Review drawings, vendor documents and package records for technical completeness and readiness for manufacture and testing.
• Manage deviations, concessions and scope changes in line with contracts and approval processes.
• Arrange vendor visits, inspection activities, factory acceptance tests and commissioning support where required.
• Complete handover and close-out records, including documentation dossiers and warranty interfaces.

Requirements and Qualifications

A relevant engineering bachelor's degree and around eight years of project-engineering or package-execution experience are required, including at least five years in pump or process-package projects. Strong knowledge of pump types, engines, motors, gearboxes, couplings, instrumentation, control panels, P&IDs, hydraulic and electrical schemes, PLCs and VFDs is important. Knowledge of API 674/676 and relevant ASME, ATEX and ISO requirements is desirable.

Skills and Employment Details

Excellent organisation, customer communication, risk management, commercial awareness and cross-functional leadership are essential. PMP certification, ERP experience and AutoCAD familiarity are advantages. Full-time role in Dubai, UAE. Salary not stated.
