Key Responsibilities

• Patrol guest areas, back-of-house spaces and access points, and respond promptly to unusual activity.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms and secured-area access, keeping records accurate and information confidential.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, key-control checks and emergency-response drills in accordance with property procedures.
• Respond to accidents, disturbances, guest concerns and other incidents, requesting emergency services when required.
• Gather facts, speak with relevant people and prepare clear incident reports for authorised management review.
• Support the handling of safety hazards, access concerns and unauthorised visitors using approved procedures.
• Coach team members on professional conduct, fair treatment, confidentiality and consistent security practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant experience in hotel security, loss prevention or a comparable safety-focused operation is useful.
• The ability to remain calm, observant and professional when dealing with sensitive or urgent situations is important.
• Candidates should be comfortable writing reports, handling confidential information and communicating with different departments.
• Availability to work an on-site hotel schedule, including shifts when required, is expected.
